Maybe this isn’t your first rodeo — perhaps you’ve read books or attended workshops on goal-setting, and set goals yourself in the past. That’s great, too! This program will serve as a refresher for you — but most importantly, you’ll learn practical, tested methods to make progress on your goals. You won’t set goals, you’ll break them down, put habits in place to achieve them, and celebrate your progress.
Why goals are so critical
When we set a goal — and write it down — we increase the likelihood of achieving that goal. We begin to think more positively about the future and our actions.
We also gain increased levels of motivation and commitment to achieve that goal. Then, when we achieve the goal, it builds our self-confidence and allows us to aim bigger and achieve even more goals.
In short: Goals are the mechanism through which we move our lives forward.
